The madVR settings just allows me to use a high quality scaler so I can show off essentially the "best" of what BD could look with the hopes that upscaling 4K players and TV's will achieve similar quality. Both movies had a Blu-ray release before.<br /><br />For Independence Day I compared the old 1080p disk to the new 2160p disk.
