I did start with the movie mode equivalent, was roughly adjusted with WoW and then fine adjusted to get grayscale proper using the X-Rite. The problem is there was no specific gamma control setting on the TV unlike my old LG (and my new Vizio P :-).

I looked around the Hisense 75M7900 forum post I linked to in the text and noted Archimagohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08642574001287787545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4781727111866727703.post-15656173814368556572016-11-22T20:23:00.570-08:002016-11-22T20:23:00.570-08:00No, I calibrated my Samsung and my brothers LG. B...No, I calibrated my Samsung and my brothers LG. But I can tell you that contrast should be 90-100 typically and brightness around 40-50. But I would start with the defaults on those settings in Movie mode or theater mode which ever is equivalent. When calibrating the workflow always starts with brightness which you will want to be in a dark room. Then move onto contrast if you have a meter LittleNickySantorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12250938139060080287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4781727111866727703.post-39010922702830536932016-11-22T16:13:23.671-08:002016-11-22T16:13:23.671-08:00Thanks Nicky,

A setting of 49 seems to low? and to have brightness higher than contrast seems unorthodox? Other than that according to the color temp graph you can doing good at 6500kelvin and your grayscale is pretty good under 3 but I would goLittleNickySantorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12250938139060080287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4781727111866727703.post-40032962386141456222016-11-21T22:31:14.719-08:002016-11-21T22:31:14.719-08:00I would recommend using SpectraCAL calibration sof...I would recommend using SpectraCAL calibration software you will be able to adjust nearly everything colors, greyscale, gamma, color temp, etc to industry standard. I used this software and I achieve a 2.4 gamma and a average delta/e of 0.5 across a 10p grayscale calibration. I calibrated my brothers TV and LG older model to a 0.3 Delta/e but gamma is a 2.2 which is still good for a dim rooom.LittleNickySantorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12250938139060080287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4781727111866727703.post-35118267865740865572016-11-21T22:09:58.513-08:002016-11-21T22:09:58.513-08:00That's a nice huge TV.
